Winter Gear for Dogs

Christmas is done and the stores are stocking their shelves with all things spring. Yet, spring is a LONG way off... at least in Montana! To thwart all of those store's attempts at luring us into false illusions of tulip bulbs bursting through defrosted soil, I have decided to post winter gear for dogs! We will still need to bundle ourselves and dogs for quite a while, and we might as well look good while strutting our stuff in 4' snow drifts. As always, I have linked the name of the business for each item. All you have to do is click to shop.

Who can resist a dog dressed as a bumble bee. Stay warm and join in on advertising spring! This sweater can be made into different sizes and can be found at A Dog Fashion.

YES!!! A Dr. Who dog sweater!!!! I cannot add enough exclamation marks!!!! This is made by Dog Sweaters By Maggs.

I'm not sure if it is this picture of the pup sitting at the top of the stairs that adds to the cuteness of this sweater, or the little flower or the combination. But again, you can advertise spring hopefulness with this sweater by driggs 100.

This one is a little more practical for hiking around in Montana weather. It is beautifully made and the dog in this picture looks quite "sophisticated". It is made by Pepper Pet Wear and is warm, waterproof and wind proof.

And shoes! to keep those pads free from ice pack and frostbite:

These booties are by DoGGie Kicks. They only make them for small dogs, but have gotten really good reviews!

Some more booties that have gotten good reviews! These are made by Joni's Barkery.

All of these items can be found on Etsy and are reasonably priced. For tips on how to keep your dog warm and safe in cold weather, please visit our post on Winter Care for Dogs.
